How To Install IPTV on OpenboxPlayer4K

About Openbox IPTV Setup

Openbox receivers allow IPTV installation via USB using M3U playlists. This method works for most Openbox models including V8S, V9S, and X5.

Installation Steps

Prepare Your M3U File

  1. Open any web browser on your computer
  2. Enter your M3U URL (provided by your IPTV service)
  3. When prompted to download, click Save As
  4. Name the file (e.g., iptv_channels.m3u)
  5. Save the file directly to your USB drive if possible (FAT32 formatted)

Transfer to USB Drive

  1. If not saved directly, copy the M3U file to USB
  2. Safely eject the USB from your computer
  3. Insert the USB into your Openbox receiver
  4. Wait 10 seconds for the Openbox to detect the USB

Load IPTV via Remote

Using your Openbox remote:

  1. Press MENU button
  2. Navigate to Network Local Settings
  3. Select Network App
  4. Choose IPTV Palace
  5. Press the YELLOW button to load from USB
  6. You should see a "Success" message when loaded correctly

Access Your Channels

  1. After successful loading:
  2. Exit the menu system
  3. Press the TV/Radio button on your remote
  4. Select IPTV Channels
  5. Your channels will now be available

Troubleshooting

Issue Solution
No success message? - Check USB format (must be FAT32)
- Verify M3U file isn't empty
Channels not loading? - Restart your Wi-Fi router
- Reboot your Openbox
Yellow button not working? - Try different USB port
- Re-download the M3U file
